Cindy (cindyd) For option 1, it states that the author can live in my state. Faye Kellerman lives in Los Angeles, CA but she also live in New Mexico part time. Would this work since I live in CA also (near, but not in LA)?

Murder 101 Faye Kellerman

Yes, that sounds fine

That works

Donna M Can I get Stalking Mary approved for option 1 - set place where you live. I live in Minneapolis, Minnnesota. The Goodreads description of this book doesn't specify where it took place. At the very end of the description there is a quote from the Ramsey County (Minnesota) sheriff. (I majored in mathematics at the University of Minnesota in the early 80s and this case was why none of the women math majors at the U during those years considered teaching high school math a career option.)

Hi Donna. That works. The author's goodreads profile also indicates she was born in Minnesota so you could use that too.
Sounds like a terrifying story!
