Grandma Gatewood from Ohio, at the age of 67 was the first solo female thru-hiker of the Appalachian Trail and first person to hike it three times. Grandma Gatewood's Walk: The Inspiring Story of the Woman Who Saved the Appalachian Trail

Blueberry if you stay logged in on any device, try logging out of all of them wait a period of time. I did one hour and I think Chad did several. Log back in it should be back. Its a work around that another Moderator from a different group helped me with.

December 26, 2014 is when I joined our group, the very first day!
I am currently not working. Decided to take the summer off with the Grandsons.

Luna is my sweet girl, she is a black Lab mix and is 13 years old.
Unfortunately she is going blind and I am pretty sure deaf as well. Either that or she is totally ignoring me haha! She sleeps 98% of the time now. She is still very independent and does not appreciate help or guidance going up and down the porch steps. She thinks she has it. She still lays on my feet when I read. She seems to like the connection.

I had a cat named Cleo until last Christmas. I took her in as a rescue in September 2023 and she was not expected to live long. She struggled through the winter and though old and sick made a miraculous recovery in the spring and spent one more amazing summer on our terrace. In the cold seasons, she made a wonderful reading companion, nestling for hours and hours in my lap. I miss her very much!
