This pilot learns that he is a player and is chosen by a Goddess to defeat an evil God's minions that threatens to destroy the island his army consists of medusa's as captains and other creatures. it's a sci-fi fantasy book.

can someone please help me find this book I've looked everywhere, in book finder, google advance search, tried putting in keywords I have literally exhausted my energy trying to find it that I'm starting to think I have hallucinated reading this book briefly. The book cover looked like it had bright colours too.

You might get more people to read this if you changed your title to something like:

Fantasy novel-Pilot crashes on island, finds out he has been chosen by a goddess to defeat evil god threatening to destroy island. Leads army of various creatures with medusas as captains. Book cover had bright colors. Read 2013-2015.

Also, can you say if it's an adult fantasy novel, YA/NA, or children's? That'll help narrow it down more. Add that to the title I suggested if you can.

What do you mean by "the pilot learns he is a player"? Is there a game of some kind he has to take part in as part of this struggle between the goddess and the evil god?
