* Description:

The last three years have been difficult for Ithric.

Traumatized after the events in the Inkwater swamp and its fallout, he’d felt frozen in those awful moments, part of him lost forever to his grief. He withdrew from the royal life to help establish a new town in the Inkwater forest, working each day until he was too exhausted to think any more about the handsome witch he’d betrayed years before. Or how each time he thought of Destrian, he felt like he was spitting on Baelin’s memory. It worked well enough…

Until the witch came to town.

Destrian spends all his time at Braewood fortress, bonding with his cousins and hiding out from the rest of his kind. Mardella had forgiven him for attempting to kill her, but the rest of the witches she’d freed hadn’t and he’d become persona non grata in their community. So when Chrystalyn insists he journey to the newly formed town to help with a spat of magical fires, he reluctantly agrees, thinking it may help him redeem himself in a small way.

Only to run right in the gorgeous fae he’d never been able to get out of his head.

Ithric’s attraction to the handsome witch is undiminished, and he struggles with his desire for him while respecting Baelin’s memory. Their complicated history is a constant source of animosity as they attempt to work together to figure out the mystery affecting his town. Destrian is just as flirty as he remembered and it’s hard to know what is real and what is a joke to the witch. He struggles to keep his attraction to himself, not wanting to disrespect Baelin’s memory.

Even though each day he falls further under the witch’s spell.

Content Note: The Frozen Prince is a dark and steamy read recommended for readers 18+ due to explicit violence, language and sexual situations. Potential TWs: Anxiety & Panic Attacks

The Frozen Prince is a 18,000 word novella set three years after the events of The Lost Warrior and concludes the Inkwater Series.
