I'm looking for one more beta reader to give me some feedback before I make some changes to my manuscript. I am willing to swap. If interested send me a friend request so we can sort out the details by PM. Thanks.
I am seeking a few beta readers for my 106,000 word RomCom, REUNITED. It was written with plans of being a mini series, but could also work as a stand alone novel.
If it sounds like something you would be interested in reading I'm mainly wanting to know your overall thoughts; what you like about it, what you don't think works. I'm not asking for grammar edits unless you find something really bothersome. I would also appreciate it if you could give me ideas for comps (fairly recent books you would compare it to). If you could have it finished by the end of January that would be great. I'm preparing to begin the query process at the start of the new year.
Here's a brief summary of my novel:
When Rachel Healey attends her ten year high school reunion she intends to make a short appearance and then a quick exit. Unable to make her quick escape she instead finds herself caught up in a game of Truth or Dare resulting in the revelation of her secret high school crush, Ryan Jenkins.
Ryan Jenkins had been not only popular and good looking, but also one of the nice guys. When he approaches Rachel she realizes that not much has changed. When he invites her to attend the county fair with him she agrees to meet him there. Having convinced herself that the invite was nothing more than a kind gesture she goes with no expectations (she for sure would not consider it a date). As they continue seeing each other Rachel is initially hesitant to believe that he could really be interested in her. As their relationship grows so does her self confidence and before long she finds herself wondering, "Is This Love?" REUNITED is a romance filled with laugh out loud humor.
My document is a google document so I prefer to share it that way. I am new to using google docs and I'm not exactly sure how sharing it works so I would need a bit of direction on that.
