Hi, Katherine, I looked over your to read list and found three books I loved reading. I chose
I hope you enjoy these reads. I am anxious to find out which books you choose for me from my to read list. I always agonize over what to read next.
Hello Lillian!! Here are my picks for you!!
1.
- Without a doubt, the best family drama I've read in a while. Brutally told and gorgeously written.
2.
- A difficult read, but at the same time so compelling that you simply can't help but be drawn to the story.
3.
- Since the first two books are kind of depressing in nature, I thought you might like something light and fluffy. This is the only Rainbow Rowell book I haven't read, but I heard it's super adorable!!
Happy reading and thank you for my wonderful picks!! I love historical fiction, so I have no doubt I'll love them!!

Stacie, these are my picks for you:1. Jane Eyre by Charlotte Brontë.
2. Purple Hibiscus by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
3. Yellow Crocus by Laila Ibrahim.
The first two books are two of my all-time favorites, so I hope you'll enjoy them, and the third one just caught my eye in your to-read list. Lovely title, good ratings, beautiful cover - and what seems to be an intriguing story. I hope you'll enjoy your reads!
Kelly,Here are my picks for you. All three of these books are books I took a while to read and when I finally did, I kept asking myself, "What took you so long?"
1.
The Poisonwood Bible - such a good book. I can still remember the characters a year later.2.
Sex on the Moon: The Amazing Story Behind the Most Audacious Heist in History - I live down the street from NASA, so this held special interest for me. Quite an intriguing tale of love.3.
The Handmaid's Tale - Why? Why did it take me years to read this book? You will be hooked in immediately. Happy reading!

3.
The Red Tent is one of my all time favorites. Tell the Wolves I'm Home and Me Before You were wonderful books. I hope you like them all as much as I did!
Stacie, thank you for your first two picks. :) I look forward to reading them! It seems as something is wrong with the third choice though, as I've already read "Me Before You" and I don't think it's in my to-read list anymore. Would you mind picking a different book as your third choice for me? Thank you!
Hi Karin,I'm still going through your TBR shelf and adding some more books to mine. LOL.
Here are my picks for you:

There was another book on your list that I really liked called
I hope this one is okay!

Bettina, it was a tough choice - such a fantastic selection of books! - but here are the three I have chosen for you:-
This is set in the part of the UK where I live. The Jamaica Inn is real, and still attracting visitors today!
I read this at the end of last year and it is one of the most amazing books I have ever read...believe the hype!
Some people loved this, some hated it on account of it being non-linear. I am of the former opinion, see what you think!Allie x
Hi Zara,Here are some picks I hope you enjoy. I've read the first two and hope to read the third shortly.
Elizabeth wrote: "Kelly,Here are my picks for you. All three of these books are books I took a while to read and when I finally did, I kept asking myself, "What took you so long?"
1.
:Dystopian novels seem to be popular on the 1001 books to read list (of which this is one). This particular book was selected for me for a quarterly challenge, and I am glad that it was. It gives me hope that not all dystopian novels are a slog to read. While the topic is certainly not pleasant (women have completely lost their rights and are being used as breeders for childless couples in a weird scripted menage a trois), it is so well written, it is enjoyable to read. I will definitely be working my way through the Margaret Atwood section of the 1001 books to read after this. Pictures made of words, depth of feelings, differing and surprising perspectives. Really enjoyed it!
Hi Kme_17, your picks are:
- I enjoyed this ya book, plus it's already on your dystopian list for 2015
- haven't read yet but I have seen good reviews
- this has been on your bookshelf for a long time and you can finally see what the hype is all about.
Ok Elizabeth, here are your choices (and I totally understand trying to restrict access!)You have a fascinating TBR list! I have put two of these on my list. :)
1) The Woman Who Wasn't There: The True Story of an Incredible Deception
This looks fascinating... I added it to my list!
2) Tisha: The Wonderful True Love Story of a Young Teacher in the Alaskan Wilderness
I have always wanted to go to Alaska...
3) Wilde in America: Oscar Wilde and the Invention of Modern Celebrity
I am fascinated by Oscar Wilde. I have added this to my list, too!
I hope you enjoy!
These are all wonderful choices! I'm kind of jealous :-)
Allie-UK,I am excited by your picks for me. You are finally going to force me to finish Game of Thrones. I am excited.
I have picked the following for you:
Angelfall--Liked this way more than I thought I would; push my horizons a bit into fantasy.
The Shock of the Fall A look into mental illness...always interesting.
Divergent End of the world fiction, always fun.
Hope you enjoy
