I meant that the primary name should be identical on both editions, not different forms of the same name. If it isn't, you can't combine.
It is GR policy that the English/international spelling of a name should be primary on all editions. So f.e. Chekhov should have Anton Chekhov listed as primary, not Антон Павлович Чехов.
