Hey Team! I’m trying out doing our roll for this round.We landed on Chance and this is our task:
You have been ELECTED Chairman of the Board. Read a book with ""elect"", ""chairman"" or ""board"" in the text and PAY EACH TEAM $10."
Does anyone have a book that will work? Please send me the sentence and page number along with the book.
The Hidden Staircase has "boards". It's on page 295, Ch. 17

It’s our turn again. We rolled 6 and landed on Mediterranean so we have the below tasks:Mediterranean Avenue
Read a book with a brown cover (>50%)
Read a book whose title starts with M
Read a book set in the Mediterranean (see note)
Read a book by an author whose first and last initials can be found in “MEDITERRANEAN”
We have a book that works for the last task Barbarian Alien by Ruby Dixon read by Jotsmar if anyone is reading something that would be less than 25 points and fit the tasks above please let me know.

Not sure if we’ve used it already.
Death in the Clouds has a police inspector, which probably works for the government.

Just wanted to let you know that any rolls you do, whether or not you have the books for them right away, have to be posted on the Boardwalk Turns thread. If you don't have a book for it right then when you get to the " plan" part of the completion post just say that you are in the middle of finding a book and don't fill out the other information or your ending bank balance.

Sorry..not trying to be a pain the butt, but if you were on St. Charles and rolled a 7, how did you get to Income Tax? It should have you land on Tennessee Ave.

I responded in the captain’s chat since I realized I was going the wrong way on the board. So I got it now. Ivelisse updated it with our book for the right task.
Hey All - we have another trade request. Team Top Hat wants to give us St Charles and we give them the railroad and Vermont. Then we would be able to start buying houses.
Anyone have thoughts, objections, on what we should counter with or just accept the offer??
I would really like St. Charles... but do we want to also give up Vermont? That's where I'm stuck at.
We can ask for Tennessee as well or just say we will only do an even trade maybe give them a pass on paying on two trips around the board.
I told the team we would have an answer yesterday. Anyone has any other thoughts??
Would they take one spot and $$ vs giving up two spaces?
Just sent our counter we will see what she comes back with.
They came back with asking for 280 and 2 passes around the board with no charge.
I like it. That leaves us Vermont to do some more deals to hopefully take out Team Cannon.
I say go for it...If someone else is on to give us a 3rd ok... ???
