I loved this book. The characters are so damn much fun.
I wish I knew what was up with Konrath, maybe some health problems? Several of his books that were supposed to be released this year are being delayed.

Cool on the book being awesome! Something to look forward to! :)
As far as Konrath's books being delayed - I am in a fan group for him on Facebook and he is in there chatting with members. He took some time off for a few months from what he said in the facebook group so book stuff was pushed back. He is planning on getting back on track soon and get some books out.
If you are on facebook - here is the Konrath fan group link for you: https://www.facebook.com/groups/65736...
The group is public over there so anyone can join. I think they have a question of what book is your favorite of Konrath's but other than that the group is friendly and of course Konrath himself makes an appearance when the members ask stuff. :)
I'm not on Facebook but it's good to know he's alright. I've been waiting for more of his books.

I'm including the straight horror stuff I read solo and the books my Thrillers book club chooses as well. I'm only putting one book per spot, even if I've read for that letter and will swap horror for thriller as it happens.

Great job, Marie! What message # do you have your books listed at? I'd like to see that, and compare to see if our reading overlaps anywhere. Thanks!

Wow! Congrats on getting it done so early. Also, that's an impressive and diverse list of readings. I've only read one of the books on your list (The Exorcist's House) and have three of your books on my TBR lists. I just added that Gemma Files books. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

Thank you so much, Michael! I used to plan ahead and determine the books I want to read for my challenges in advance. But this year I just read what I want and then completed the remaining 3-4 problematic letters like U, X, Z. It worked so well that I could finish this early, apparently the key is to relax 😄
I really liked The Exorcist's House, it was very solid horror and so is Experimental Film by Gemma Files. I'll be excited to read your review.
I have my fingers crossed for you, you'll make it too!

I claimed my spot on post #10 above, but forgot to put my books in. It's updated now - I still have the usual suspects of J, U, X, Y, and Z.
Just like playing Scrabble! 😄😄

Great list, and extra points to you as it looks like horror is in the majority - - - no small task. We share 3 reads (Dismembered, Heart-Shaped Box, The Vessel). There are so many interesting titles there that I wasn't aware of. I'll have to return to your list and check some of those out, especially the Malfi book and that other one with the best title - - Kiss Me Where It Smells Funny - - - really has my curiosity peaked.

Thank you so much, Michael! :)
Well I have to confess something on here. The reason many of the titles are horror is that I have over 2,800 horror books I have not read so I just have to go through my shelved books on here that are not read on my horror shelf and adjust the columns in alphabetical order so I can see what I need to fit for the A-Z challenge. :)
I know we can use other books besides horror but I like to keep at least more than 50% of horror if I can dig them up. lol :)
Those three books we share were great books. :)
That one book by Eric Butler that you want to check it out was a different type of horror and it was interesting. lol That is about all I am going to say on it. :)
The Malfi book was a excellent book! I would definitely recommend adding it to your tbr pile and moving it up at least to your top 10. :)

You can view my readings at Message #19."
Congrats Michael! You have a great list of reading material! :)

Congratulations! (I'm giving up on my last four--LOL!)

It's without a doubt the last time I've signed up for an A-Z challenge. I didn't have fun this time, it was more of a burden 🫨
My list is in message #8, if you're interested!

Felicitations, Seb! A very bizarro list :)

Thanks inciminci! I do like fantasy but I like to mix it up a bit with other stuff. There's probably not enough horror in that list though. Maybe next year....

Also, congrats, inciminci, on finishing the challenge, over a month ago now!

There's never enough horror 😄 Thank you very much!

You have two weeks or so to go so good luck with completing your challenge! And X's For Eyes is nice and short at 80 pages.

Yeah, that's what I thought, too!
