Can you add it to your Uno shelf please? Thanks :-)
Shame about the lack of character depth, but at least it was a quick read!"
I just added it, thank you for the nudge. :)

The April Mini Challenge is HERE .
A little earlier than usual, but it is also a little bigger than usual.
Have fun with all the funny animal names ;-)
It's mainly tasks that require completing, so most of it is straight forward. Read through it all, take your time, and if you have questions, feel free to ask.
COUNTDOWN to start of the mini challenge:

I definitely will be reading a brown too

And can probably cover just about any task. They seem broad/common enough :)

I'd suggest keeping one of the green and one of the red covers as well for after the mini challenge starts, so we can cover those at the same time, too.

I have been meaning to read that one for a couple of years now! I think I read two chapters but then never got further because I got distracted by other books because I wasn't in the mood for Eleanor. Some day... some day.. ;-)

Tasks - Part One
1. Read a book where someone doesn't ever seem to use the bathroom. (You know those books, where references to going to the bathroom or behind a tree are non-existent, even if..."
44. Read a book that is MPG LGBT/LGBTI or any variation thereof. (MPG Queer accepted as well.)
What is MPG? I am not sure I know that acronym.
Also at first scan I can totally knock out a vampire book for us (black dagger brother hood to the rescue), And depending on what MPG is i can probably do that one also. :)

So the genres that are listed on the main page of a book."
Thank you so much! I can totally do the lgbt one also. :)

I have

Still need to read

That's just a start for me. I want to read these this month:

*eta: it could work for gray cover, what do you think?
Skull on cover, pink and blue covers are the most obvious ones on your list.
Cruel Prince could work for tyrant, no? I haven't read it yet but from what I've heard of the series that seems to be an aspect of the plots.

Haha no worries, we've got plenty of time and they'll probably fit several tasks anyway as well :-)
Enjoy the day out!

I'm currently reading

Anyway, good night everyone!

I also have purple if no-one else wants it.

"Wait, is she going nuts, or am I?! This is orange?!"
Yeah... don't mind me.. and it isn't even that early in the morning anymore hehe.
I am curious however to see what you think. I wasn't overly fond of the first book.

I gave the first one 3.5 stars. Enough to be willing to give the second a try. It works for another challenge, so two birds, one stone, lol.

Also, is this yellow? Asking for a friend.

I think yes to both of them.

Mention of a stuffed snake; practically naked (the fae command her after she eats a certain fruit and she has no choice); lives in a community; world collapses when her parents are killed; white cover; 3 things the same (twigs); goes for a swim;

Takes place in Spring; Live near the ocean/beach; inoffensive character; 3 neon letters on cover; 2 people; set in North America;

Also, is this yellow? Asking for a friend.

Seconding Laura, yes to both.

I know, it seems odd every now and then, but I see mostly pink - bright and dark.

Overall I enjoyed it E, although there was a bit more political blah and less action than I would have preferred.

It's quite dark/gloomy but that's typical for Laura Purcell's books. I'm enjoying it even if I'm not really rooting for any of the characters.
Will check the mini challenge tomorrow when I'm behind my laptop :)

LaurLa, I've slotted you in for medical examiner and beach life as well. I've also slotted you in for the not suitable for children since that one is indeed inevitable for you hehe. Whatever you read that may not have been mentioned so far can go there!
For the second part, Devil and Moth on cover would be cool if you could prioritise those as well :-)
For the rest, we can always revisit if necessary but those would be great for a start, thanks!
