Thanks Brenda - yes, the joys of retirement! We go to Lanzarote and Majorca annually as well. Lots of Brits here and lots from Ireland too, as also in Lanzarote.
Interestingly, on a different topic, just started watching a BBC TV fictional drama called Ten Pound Poms about a family who emigrated in 1956. Brings back some memories as my family emigrated on Assisted Passage Scheme in 1963!

Sounds fabulous! Great you're able to have lots of holidays to various places. And yes, I've heard about Ten Pound Poms, you should enjoy the memories of that program, although fictional :)

Ten Pound Poms has been interesting so far although different from our experience as we were 'sponsored' and had accommodation and job all set up before we left the UK.
