I want to start out by saying thank you Annie for sending out your copying to me others. It was a privilege to get a chance to read it. In the begging I wan't too fond of the main character. I felt like she should have been a little stronger and stood up to her mom but then again I sympathized with her since I've been in her place before. As the story unfolds I know see her get stronger and takes her life in her own hands. Overall it was a great read. I was obsessed with the whole idea of a selkie and its interesting backstory. This is the first fantasy that revolved around it. I would love to see a sequel in the near future to catch up with the main character. Even though I liked the story there was some parts that didn't catch my fancy but because of that I give it four stars.
