I finished listening to Diablo Mesa - 3.5*.Another solid entry in the archaeologist Nora Kelly series with an interesting premise of excavating the Roswell New Mexico site. There's murder, action, narrow escapes and lots of adventure in this entertaining story.
Here's my review of The Edinburgh Mystery: And Other Tales of Scottish Crime, an entertaining collection of Scottish crime short stories spanning the period from the 1880s to the 1970s, edited by prolific commentator and author Martin Edwards.

Written in the Austen universe this sounded like a clever idea but I found the execution disappointing.
The Murder of Mr. Wickham by Claudia Grayreview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
My review for
Fed to Red Birds bu Aussie author Rijn Collinshttps://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished listening to Isaac's Storm: A Man, a Time, and the Deadliest Hurricane in History by Erik Larson - 3.5*.This was a non-fiction story of a horrific hurricane that hit Galveston Texas in 1900 when the U.S. Weather Service was in it's infancy and didn't know enough to warn people. Interesting, historical, and sad with the huge loss of life.
4.5 stars for this historical fiction by an Aussie Author
The Proxy Bride by Zoe BoccabellaMy review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Stick Together by Sophie Hénaff, translated by Sam Gordon, is a very enjoyable second outing for the band of the misfit French police nicknamed the Awkward Squad. review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Conspirators on the Dark Web don't need someone to have an internet presence in order to target them. In Aussie author Ashley Kalagian-Blunt's unsettling new book, Dark Mode, anyone is fair game - game as in being hunted for sport. Watch yourself!
4★ My review of Dark Mode
I enjoyed this murder mystery set in the Austenverse more than the first in the series.
The Late Mrs. Willoughby by Claudia Grayreview: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I finished listening to Confessions on the 7:45 by Lisa Unger - 4*.Intriguing psychological suspense told in multiple POVs about infidelity, family drama, con artists, missing persons and revenge.

3 stars for
The Summer Party by Aussie Author Rebecca HeathMy review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Next Girl Missing by L.A. Larkin, first in a new Aussie mystery series, is suspenseful and gripping. I've already requested the sequel Her Deadly Truth from Netgalley :)https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I wouldn't recommend this one.
The New Mother by Nora Murphy I didn't realise was going to be a mystery until more than half way through the book as the first half went on way too long about the distress a new mother with a colicky baby was experiencing. While postnatal depression is an important social topic deserving empathy, this seemed excessive for a mystery.
