Patricia | 158 comments I haven't done a challenge here in a few years, so I'm going to try for Level 2, and I hope to try some categories that are new to me.

Level #2 Master of History--10-15 books in at least 5 categories

Patricia | 158 comments I finished my first: A Stroke of Malice. Takes place in Scotland in 1832, so British Empire setting. The 8th in a series I've greatly enjoyed. 4 stars

1st in a new series. Under Early 20th century; takes place in India (Bangalore) in the 1920's. 4 stars

Patricia | 158 comments Finished my 4th book--The Pericles Commission (ancient Greece) I had checked this out to read back in January with the group but couldn't get around to it. I wasn't too sure I would finish it when I first started, but I ended up really enjoying it and hope to read more of the series. 4 stars

Patricia | 158 comments Finished my fifth book--Deed of Murder. The seventh in the series. This one takes place in April 1511, Ireland, so 16th-17th century Europe.

I've completed 5 books in five different settings.

Patricia | 158 comments My sixth book: A Treacherous Curse. Takes place in London 1888, so Victorian England.
Third in series which I am enjoying.

Setting: Regency England, 1812.
So, eight settings and ten books. Have officially completed Master of History. Hope to read a few more before end of year.

Congratulations! I have been wanting to begin this series for a while, it gets such rave reviews!

Patricia | 158 comments Thanks, Sandy & Kerri! Yes, that is a great series. I have the next two books in the series though I hope to read at least one more from another time period. The year is winding down!
