"C'mon," Cade whispered, kissing the side of her head and carrying her out to the hallway, she wasn't exactly fit to walk. Kris followed them out, until Cade turned to tell her to fuck off. When he got her home, he made up the spare room and set her in the bed. "Stay away from that girl okay?"

Tyler nodded, coughing again. "I hate her." She mumbled, curling into a ball and trying not to cry. She sniffled, hiding her face in a pillow.
"Shes just jealous. You have so much more than she could ever have, she lost me and she lost a lot of her friends," Cade sat by Tyler, moving her head onto his lap so he could stroke her hair.
Tyler closed her eyes and relaxed, nestling closer to Cade. She sighed softly, a few tears falling. She swallowed hard, sniffling, biting her sore tongue.
Cade hated to see Tyler cry, he wanted things to be better for her, she didn't deserve this. Continuing to stroke Tyler's hair, Cade looked out the window. "I got to go to work tonight, will you be okay? I'll cancel if necessary?"
"I'll be f-fine..." She sniffled, rolling so she was looking up at Cade. "I'll just watch some tv or something, I'll be fine." She smiled weakly, closing her eyes again.
Cade looked down at Tyler, smiling back at her. "Okay, well I'll have my phone on me..." Cade kissed her head and smiled again, holding her in his arms. He really liked this girl.
Tyler smiled and nodded, her cheeks flushing. She laid back on the bed, closing her eyes and trying to fall back to sleep and yawning.
Cade went to work and returned in no time, when he did, the first thing he did was bring Tyler a hot chocolate and some flowers he'd bought on his way home. "Ty, you awake?" he asked, walking slowly into the spare bedroom, smiling as he closed the door behind him.
Tyler was hanging off of the bed, upside down, while reading a book. She had a pair of earbuds in, so she didn't hear Cade, and couldn't see him, either. She was humming the tune of the song as she read, some rock song.
(Still up for the idea?)
Cade chuckled lightly under his breath, gazing at Tyler from his bedroom door. "Ty?" Cade chuckled again, but it was evident she couldn't hear him. Cade placed his keys and the mug of hot chocolate on his side table and lay the flowers on the pillow before laying upsidedown in the same position next to her, before gently taking out one of her earbuds.

((Crap I could have sworn I responded.))"Ah!" Tyler cried out, startled, sliding off of the bed and falling onto the floor with a quiet thud. "Cade! What was that for?!"
"Crap, crap..." Cade stuttered as he saw her fall to the floor. "I was only trying to get your attention, I didn't mean for you to fall..." Cade sat next to her, "you okay?" he asked, checking that she hadn't managed to hurt herself falling down. It wasn't exactly far to fall.
"I'm fine," She insisted, waving Cade away as she rubbed her arm. It would probably bruise lightly, but she didn't care.
"Tyler I seriously didn't mean to push you off, Jesus." Cade was confused as to why her mood had changed so progressively. "Did something happen whilst I was gone?"
"No. Why are you always freaking out about something? I'm fine." Tyler pulled herself onto the bed, rolling her eyes a bit and flopping back.
Cade frowned at Tyler, pissed off at her attitude. "Right," he muttered. "I'll be downstairs," he told her bluntly before leaving the room.
In the bathroom there was a bottle of pills. They weren't labeled, save for one a day scrawled on in Tyler's handwriting. She had bought them from an offbrand place, so they didn't work, honestly made things worse. But she didn't know that.
Cade stayed downstairs out of Tyler's way for half an hour or so before making himself a drink and walking back upstairs. Passing the bathroom, he found Tyler's pills. What are these? Cade asked himself, frowning as he shoved the bottle in his pocket.
Tyler was reading her book again and listening to her music, humming along. She still looked a bit hostile, but not as much as before.
Cade walked into the bedroom with a frown on his face, placing the bottle down in front of Tyler. "What's this?" he asked, his voice softer than it had been before.
Tyler scowled at Cade, snatching up the bottle and sliding it away. "It's nothing." She mumbled, going back to ignoring him.
"Obviously it's not nothing," Cade fought back, his temper rising again. "Tyler what are they?" he asked her.
"Of course I do, but are these even prescription?" He asked her, looking at the label. The dosage made no sense, and there were no warnings or anything.
"... Sure, yeah." Tyler answered, obviously lying to Cade. Rolling her eyes, she tried to go back to reading.
"You're lying," Cade complained as he threw the pills in the bin. "Do you know how dangerous that is Ty? if you want to get better you can't fill yourself with drugs you don't know even work!"
"Yes it is," Cade snapped as he stopped Tyler finishing the pills out. "This shit could kill you."
Cade remained silent for a moment before pulling Tyler into a tight hug. "You're worth so much more than that."
Tyler froze, startled by the gesture. In her state, she was very confused. "What are you doing?" She mumbled, fighting slightly to get away.
"You're not yourself," Cade told Tyler as he pulled away from her. "Stop taking the pills and get some sleep. Hopefully you're just dazed and this isn't serious. I'll sleep downstairs."
Cade settled down on his sofa, falling asleep after a mere few moments. Did Tyler genuinely hate him now? Or was it just the pills?
