"Fine. But I don't care if I'm scarred, you know? I don't fucking care." She goes inside, crossing her arms. It was a bit chilly in his house.

"You will care. Things will get better and I'm going to make sure of that." Cade looked to the floor, he hated how depressed she was. The fact that he caused a lot of her pain broke him. "Ty, I'm really sorry." This time, Cade struggle to speak without his lip trembling. "I'm so, so sorry."
Tyler looked up at the sound of his shaking voice, her face crumbling at the sight of his. She let out a soft whimper, walking towards him. "What's wrong?"
Cade wasn't going to cry, he just couldn't talk without feeling like he was going to. "I never meant to make you feel this way," he told her, pulling her into a hug. "You've been the highlight of my life, I don't care who you are are what you've done in my opinions, you're perfect. The girl I spoke to was flawless and damn it she's you. I'm so, so sorry."
Tyler wrapped her arms around Cade, burying her face in his chest. "That's not your fault. It's just me, I lied and hid and..." She trailed off, now clinging to Cade, shaking slightly.
"You never lied to me," Cade told her, running his fingers through her hair. "You never did anything wrong at school, yet I treated you like dirt just so I could be popular."
Tyler shook her head. Part of her was making excuses for everything he had done, even though she knew that it was inexcusable. She sniffled again, nestling her face deeper into his chest, feeling so safe and secure.
"Come on, I'll get you some clothes." Cade didn't want to make himself too comfortable with her, he knew she wasn't happy with him and sucking up to her wouldn't help. "Here," Cade picked out some pyjamas from his sisters clothing pile. "I'll meet you in my room?" "Wait, no that sounds creepy.. I mean.. you know what I mean," he chuckled.
Tyler nodded quietly, disappearing into the bathroom. She spent a lot of time in there, picking apart her scabs until blood ran down her wrist and trickled through the water. She sniffled softly, feeling tears in her eyes.
Cade sat down on his bed and opened his laptop, he was bombarded with messages from his girlfriend begging for him back, but he simply told her to fuck off. He knew who he loved, even if he'd never admit it. Cade waited for Tyler, he pulled his shirt off to change into something else.
Tyler finally came out and got dressed, tying the ribbon around her wrist again. She hoped Cade would forget that he was going to bandage her wrist, since her wounds were now once again fresh.
Cade waited for Tyler to come in, he had a first aid pack somewhere in his room from scouts. "Hey, you ready?" he asked, walking over to her and taking her to his bed, he sat her down and smiled sweetly at her, taking his first aid kit.
Tyler winced slightly, swallowing hard. She resisted the urge to tug her hand away. She was a bit nervous that he might get angry, and start shouting, and she honestly didn't want to hurt him
Cade took the ribbon off and saw an open wound, his mouth dropped slightly and he bit his lip. "Did you just do this?" he asked her, his tone quiet. He pulled her hand closer to his face to inspect the cuts. "Ty," he said quietly. "Why?" he asked her, standing to meet her gaze.
Tyler hung her head sadly, looking away from Cade. She shrugged, sniffling softly. "Sorry..." She mumbled, looking quite ashamed.
Cade pulled Tyler into a tight hug, he held her closer than he had before and snuggled her close. "We're gonna make this okay." Cade was never normally sympathetic, but he really cared for Tyler. He'd grown to know this girl, and he wanted to do all he could to protect her.
Tyler hesitated a moment before nodding, clinging to Cade tightly. She sniffled slightly, burying her face in his shoulder, feeling safe with him. She had never wanted to recover, until she had begun talking with Cade. And now, she had someone helping her to recover, as well. It felt nice, like she was free.
"Do you wanna watch a movie or something?" Cade asked Tyler, still holding her in his tight embrace. "Unless you wanna get some sleep?" he asked her. He still hadn't set the spare bed up, but he was aware that wouldn't take long.
"Ask long as we don't have to leave the house." She mumbled, still with her arms around Cade. She sniffled again, glancing up at him with an ashamed look.
"We don't, I'll put one on in here.." Cade kissed her forehead before turning on his TV to select a film recorded. "Any of these look good?" he asked her, sitting on the end of his bed with his arm open, waiting for her to join him.
Tyler curled against Cade's side, taking the remote and starting a Harry Potter movie. She leaned against him, rubbing her wrist absentmindedly.
Cade held Tyler close in his arms, watching the movie by her side. The hours passed and soon Cade had fallen asleep with his arms still around Tyler, and his head rested gently on her shoulder. She was so warm, inside and out.
Tyler kept watching, about half asleep, but wanting to savor the moment. She laid her head on top of Cade's yawning. She felt safe, so safe, like nothing could touch her, could hurt her. She curled closer against his side, smiling.
Cade drifted into a deep sleep, waking at around 1am. He stretched and noticed Tyler asleep next to him, they were both curled at the end of the bed. Smiling to himself, he scooped Tyler up and set her in his bed, sliding in next to her with his arms wrapped tightly around her, spooning her with as much safety as he could.
Tyler awoke in the morning with a soft yawn, tugging out of his arms as she sat up and stretched. She blushed as she realized where she was, glancing at her wrist.

Cade woke, only because she'd moved and he felt cold without her. "Sorry, I should have taken you to the spare room," he told her through a yawn. Cade was shirtless, but he quickly pulled a stray shirt over his head.
"It's fine..." Tyler said through another yawn of her own, her cheeks flushed. She stretched again, glancing at Cade almost nervously. Part of her thought that he was going to send her home, or something of that matter.
"I'll make you some breakfast, school isn't for like, another hour." Cade never woke up this early, it was painful. "I'm not sure I actually want you to go in today..." he told her, biting his lip.
"Look, I've already been away for a day, and so have you. I'm going." Tyler crossed her arms, looking quite stubborn. She wasn't going to hide out, she never did. Even if the notion made her sick to the stomach, she was going to school.
"You were knocked out cold Ty, maybe rest is the best thing for you?" Cade told her, biting his lip. He knew she'd go through hell the next day, and in all honesty - so would he.
(Ok I kind of had a bit of an idea? if we roleplay them for a while until maybe they get into a relationship and then skip? I thought maybe they could break up and two yeas later or so they find each other again, maybe she works at a bar or he does and we go from there?)

"Look, I don't care. It's going to happen sooner or later, and I'd rather get it over with." She looked away from Cade, finding it hard to take care of herself. ((Well, I'd rather them not break up, but could we have it be where they haven't seen eachother in awhile because one went off to college, and they just stayed in contact through texting, etc? And then one of them surprises the other by showing up?))
(Aw! That sounds so cute. I think it'd work better if they hadn't seen each other for maybe a year or two?)
"Mm, well I'm not down for it happening at all," Cade told Tyler, sitting her back down. "It's Friday after all, you can stay here if you don't wanna go home?"

((Yeah, totally.))Tyler moves to stand again. "Then you can stay here, and I'll see you after school." She obviously doesn't care about her safety, for years of dealing with all this made her care less and less about herself.
(Cool! So do you maybe wanna skip a couple of weeks now? Maybe to where they first really get together?)
Cade frowned, his tone growing slightly snappy. "Sit down." Cade wasn't going to have her get hurt, not today. "You're not going to school Tyler, you're not fit to go in and I think you should let it all die down. You really just need rest or you'll do yourself in."

((I sorta want to do their first day back to school, first.))Tyler rolls her eyes, sitting with her back to Cade. "Look, if I want to go, then why shouldn't I be able to? It's my choice, and I don't care what people will say. Alright?"
(Fair)
"Alright, fine. But don't blame me if it goes ass-up." Cade stood, took some clothes and changed in the bathroom. He wasn't in many of Tyler's classes today, only philosophy. When they got to school, or about 2 minutes before they got to school, Cade looked to Tyler. "Text me if you need anything," he told her, before walking into school and finding his way to first lesson.

Tyler nodded, already zoning off as she relieved the tons of looks from people in school. She sat in the back of her first class, which, unfortunately, Kris was in. "Hey, whore!" The cheerleader shouted, making her posse of girls burst into laughter.
"I get it, I'm not going out with Cade anymore, but he's still the hottest guy in our fucking year and way out of your league, so if I see you near him one more time I'll put you back in hospital where you belong." Kris leaned close to Tyler, spitting the words in her face.
Tyler flinched, swallowing hard. "Get the hell out of my face, Kris." She growled, rolling her eyes. "Or at least realize you aren't what you say you are. We all have secrets, don't we, Kris?!" She threatened, referring to something Kris had told her ages ago. Tyler would never tell anyone, but she did like the leverage.
Kris didn't like to think about her friendship with Tyler. They told each other everything. "Don't think I'm threatened by you, bitch." Kris, inside, really hoped Tyler wouldn't say anything - she really had told her everything.
"By the look on your face, you are. So I suggest you shut up!" Tyler nearly shouted, looking away from Kris and rolling her eyes again. She shook slightly, swallowing hard.
Kris clenched her jaw, pushing her friend out the way to get to Tyler. "I'm not scared of you, bitch. We all know you fucked Jimmy Carl," Kris screamed. This wasn't necessarily true, Kris just needed ammo. Cade walked in just as it was said, flushing bright red, "Uh..." was it true?
Tyler let put a growl, not noticing that Cade had walked in. That was the last straw. "And now we all know that your mom's fucking the principal!" She shouted, standing up and taking a step towards Kris. That wasn't even all she had, with everything that Kris had told her in the past.
"Big fucking whoop? At least my mum can pull a man, I mean what even is your dad?" Kris spat back, "you're just a fucking excuse. No one loves you, no one will ever love you. You're just a slut who'll fuck anything for a bit of money!"
Cade bit his lip and watched the girls, leaning against the door. He didn't plan on getting involved until something broke out.

Tyler could feel her eyes beginning to sting, but she kept shouting. "Right, I forgot that your dad isn't spending his nights at a strip club, bringing home a new fuckbuddy every night. Oops, and I almost forgot to mention how you made sweet love to your piano tutor for a good report!"
Kris screamed at Tyler, pushing herself towards her and slapping her hard round the face. "Still a better father than yours could ever be, remember how your daddy left you alone for a week just to stay with some slut he met on a holiday, oh, which he didn't take you on?"
Tyler stumbled back, her head slamming into the back wall. She slid to the floor, dazed, coughing up a bit of blood from biting her tongue. Her mind was clouded, and she couldn't see anything, let along think straight.
"Fuck sake," Cade mumbled, pushing Kris out the way to get to Tyler. "I told you so," he whispered quietly, picking the girl up in his arms and resting her on a table. Kris went towards her, but Cade pushed her back. She hated the fact that Cade was more interested in Tyler now. "Ty? You okay?" he asked, wiping the blood away form her mouth.
