Tyler was unconscious by the time she hit the ground. Meanwhile, the shouting had drawn the attention of teachers and students in rooms around the courtyard. A crowd had gathered, multiple teachers marching towards the three.

The teachers were fumbling around, pulling the Cade away from his now ex-girlfriend. Cade didn't care that he was beign shouted at, instead he kneeled down to Tyler. "Will someone call a fucking ambulance?!" He yelled, holding Tyler's head in his lap.
"I don't believe she needs an ambulance, we'll just bring her to the nurse's." One of the teachers said. It was obvious that the teachers didn't care much for Tyler, either.
"She's fucking knocked out!?" Cade screamed, pulling out his own phone to dial 999. "You're fucking crazy." Cade told the emergency services the situation and they promised to arrive ASAP. Until then, Cade was left with Tyler limp in his lap.
The teachers sighed, and decided to just leave Cade there, seeing that they weren't going to get anywhere with him. In a few minutes, the emergency services had arrived.
Cade stood in the ambulance with Tyler, he wasn't going to let her go alone. Not this time, not ever. "Ty?" Cade whispered next to her, but he was ushered away by the nurses, who were checking Tyler for asphyxiation and brusiing.
The nurse begins to ask Cade questions, while Tyler remains unconscious. "So, how exactly did this happen?"
Cade knew he had to refrain from swearing. Especially now, when Tyler was in hospital. "She was strangled quite viscously."
The nurse kept asking questions, like what Cade's relation was, who her emergency contact was, etc. at one point, they undid her ribbon to find her deep cuts. "What are these?" The nurse asked.
"Uh, they're self harm scars. Obviously?" Cade muttered. He told them the rest of her details, surprised at how well he actually knew them. "I was shocked of course, but I pulled them apart. More to the point, will she be okay?"
"Most likely. We haven't seen any signs of something that will prevent her from recovering, but we will have to check for other cuts, in case some end up being infected." The nurse answered.
Cade rose an eyebrow, these questions were strange - as was the treatment. "Alright, I'll sit in the waiting room?" he sighed. Cade left the room, he sat directly outside, wanting to be as close to Tyler as he could be. Since it would be a while until she came around, Cade headed down to the gift shop to buy her a get well teddy.
It was about two hours before Tyler awoke. She opened her eyes, staring at the ceiling, ignoring the nurse, who was asking her questions. Her neck was severely bruised, and her face was somber.
(It's fine, sorry I've been patchy - been a little busy. Should be on all tonight though:)
Cade heard she'd awoken through gossip. The first thing he did was walk in the room, not caring if the nurses told him not to. "Tyler, are you okay?" he asked her quietly, sitting by her side with the bear in his hands. He'd broken up with his girlfriend on the phone not long before. He'd told her if she talks to either himself or Tyler again she'll certainly regret it.

Tyler slowly shifted to face Cade, obviously confused as to why he was there. She had a hard time believing anyone cared. Swallowing hard and wincing, she nodded. For her to answer his question and not any of the nurse's made the nurse throw her hands up in exasperation.
Glad Tyler had nodded rather than flip him off, Cade let out a sigh of relief. "You had me so worried..." Cade told Tyler, setting her bear on the side of the table. "I got you this. I know it's not much but it's something." Cade knew Kris had been excluded for at least a week, but he was still unhappy she wasn't punished further.
"Shouldn't you be with your girlfriend?" Tyler croaked out, closing her eyes and rolling away. She still didn't trust Cade that well, even after all that had happened. She never really trusted anyone, anymore.
"I don't have a girlfriend." Cade was blunt. He really liked Kris, she'd always shown compassion - but to do that to Tyler was sick. He hated her for that. Cade may have loved the girl, but he couldn't love someone with no respect - physically... for somebody else. Especially Tyler. Cade wasn't into fighting, he hated it.
Tyler immediately sat up, looking completely surprised. The nurse fussed about her, gently pushing her back down, sighing and crossing her arms. "Why not?" Tyler asked in a rushed voice.
"We broke up," Cade told her. "I'm not having a girlfriend who treats you like that. Or anyone." Cade didn't want to talk about it, he'd really loved Kris.
"You should talk to her then. I pretty much ruined her life, you know. I put too much pressure on her. It's my fault." Tyler said, putting herself down once more. She rolled over, facing the blank wall, falling silent.
"Uh, it's not your fault. She never had the right to touch you like that. I don't care if we were having an argument or making out, no matter what we were doing she had no rights." Cade frowned at Tyler. "Her life isn't ruined. We'll be better apart."
((Yep, sorry.))Tyler shook her head slightly, not believing Cade. Her next still hurt with a dim soreness. She kept her back to him, closing her eyes so she wouldn't have to talk.
(It's cool, have you got any ideas for something to happen?)
"Look, Ty. Kris is a bitch for doing that to you. The whole class are fucked off at her. She took it too far and we all see that. Me especially. I'm not going to let anybody hurt you. The next person to throw an insult at you will have to go through me and damn it Tyler I mean it."

"The whole class, huh?" Tyler scoffed. "I doubt it. They're just mad she didn't succeed. Don't forget that I used to be friends with her, with all those girls. I know how they think."
"Wow wait, what?" Cade didn't know they'd been friends. This was totally new to him. "You guys were friends? I didn't know that. Is that why she's such a bitch to you now? what happened??"
"She didn't want the pressure of a suicidial me." Tyler says simply, now staring at the ceiling. She crossed her arms and closed her eyes, biting her bottom lip.
"Tyler when did you start feeling this way?" Cade asked, moving his chair around to face her. Although she was looking up, his gaze remained fixated on her face.
Tyler merely shrugged, not opening her eyes to look at Cade. She still didn't understand why he was here, she knew how he felt about Kris. And with all the things he had said to her, she didn't expect him to side against Kris.
"Ty, how long?" Cade asked, this time his town was more serious. He'd assumed it wasn't long - not since they'd started talking. "We can get you help?" he whispered. "I don't want to you feel this way anymore."
"I don't know, Cade. I guess I've just always felt this way." She finally said, staring at the ceiling. She sighed and wrapped her arms around herself, all of the cuts and scars on her arm visible.
Cade waited a moment before he stood up, he looked down to Tyler and sat down on her bed, placing his hand on his shoulder. "I'm sorry," he whispered to her. He just wanted to hug her, but didn't know how to go about it.
Tyler closed her eyes, feeling tears prick at the corner of them. She sniffled, trying not to cry, turning and burying her face in the pillow to muffle her cries.
Cade bit the side of his cheek, he then placed his hands on her back and pulled her up slightly. Cade pulled Tyler into a hug and held her head in his chest, rubbing the back of her hair and running her fingers through it. "We'll get you through this."
Tyler tried to hold in her sobs, burying her face in Cade's chest and wrapped her arms around his neck. She breathed shakily, struggling to swallow her pain.
Cade rubbed Tylers back and kissed the top of her head. He wasn't okay with her crying like this, it broke him. The amazing girl he'd spoken to for a year straight was broken in his arms and no hug was tight enough to fix her. "I'll make the doctors help you... I'll make them care."
Tyler didn't respond, couldn't respond. She just kept crying, although they were silent and painful tears, choking her with the amount. She didn't want to cry, didn't want to show weakness, every sob a gasping breath.
"Do you want me to take you home? Or you can come stay with me if you don't wanna be at home... I'm alone at the moment, I'll set up the spare room?" Cade wasn't comfortable with her staying at a hospital. It was so horrible, and the staff had no respect.
"I d-don't want to g-go h-h-home..." She choked out, looking downright frightened at the prospect of going back there. That was part of the reason why she gave up so easily- her mother was always working, and her father was always inviting over other woman and spending the afternoon in the bedroom.
"You'll stay with me then, is that okay?" Cade told Tyler. He held her close and stroked her hair, he didn't want to let her go in this state. "Lets get you out of here before they admit you for the night."
Tyler nodded quietly, taking shaky breaths as she tried to stop herself from crying. She didn't let go of Cade, still clinging to him. "P-Please," She added, not wanting to return home.
Cade slid her out of his arms for a moment and picked up her school bag, he slung it over his shoulder and took her hand in his. The nurses demanded she stayed but he refused to let her, telling them he'd take as much care of her as needed at his own place. "C'mon," he said quietly, taking her through to his car.
The nurses finally have up, not actually having a valid reason to hold her in the hospital. Tyler walked silently, still sniffling, trying to control herself and pull up her walls once again.
"Why do you hate home?" Cade asked her, he opened his car door for her and made sure she was in. His parents were away for a week or two, so he didn't have to worry about introductions, which she'd probably hate.
"They don't give a shit about me..." She mumbles, sitting and buckling herself in. She stares out the window, chewing on her bottom lip. She had her back of things with her, and was tying the red ribbon onto her wrist again.
"Ty, I'm not being rude but I think you should take off the ribbon." Cade told her, he didn't want to pressure her but he knew it could infect her cuts, and that was the last thing he wanted. "I'll put a bandage on them when we get home? I just don't want them to get infected." Cade pulled up outside his house, parking and stepping out.
"It'll be fine, Cade. And I don't care, anyways." Tyler argued, although she felt quite special from his nickname for her. She sniffled softly, leaning her head against the window.
"No, I care. I don't want to have to tell you they've scarred for life." Cade opened Tyler's door for her, taking her hand and helping her out. "Why don't you take a shower, I'll get you some of my sister's clothes and then I'll sort your cuts out, alright?" Cade ushered her into his home.
