but when i was.. oh i dont know, 10? 11-ish, I had some serious sleep paralysis
It was the same thing every time, and it lasted for a year or so
my coping mechanism was to name him and give him life so I wasn't so scared
so I named him Mr. Smiles. He has a character now, and I don't get paralysis often anymore

Your pfp. I have sleep paralysis gotta sleep with lights on 24/7

Glad this hasn't been happening anymore.
My sister told me this happened to her often too. I like th pfp btw.
Sleeping paralysis doesn't have to do anythig with ghosts. But I'm sure if it hasn't been happening then you may be better now. I wish. <3

Sleeping paralysis? Or bad postures?
Meanwhile you must regulate those attacks it may hurt you in future if you kept ignoring them.
Try to meditate. Attend a yoga class. Really helpful!<3

I must put everysingle photoelectron off. Either that or I may not sleep. 🙂

I will also constantly have nightmares causing me to have night terrors

I will not sleep and have constant nightmares. Insomnia for the most part

All of this may gets you a better peaceful sleep.

I know may god be upon you. But try as this feeling it gives will go away on specific time.

Asher, I have a suggestion:
Tart Cherries, whether juiced, dried, etc. They have been proven in helping your body produce melatonin and tryptophan, which basically means it improves your sleep, the energy you get from the sleep, and makes it easier to fall asleep.
They are also high in nutrients, aids in your muscle growth and your physical strength, makes your brain function better and improves your brain health, improves your immune system.
It may also prevent certain cancers, reduce pain from nerve damage, blood-pressure reduction, and not only that? But it reduces your chances for arthritis, gout and other bone ailments.

another note on the sleeping side of it, tart cherries are NOT a supplement, so your body technically can't "get used to it"
instead they trigger a response in you and help your body produce melatonin.

I got 6 hours of sleep last night (although I must say my ability to function on 30 minutes of sleep is just short of incredible) but i am incredibly energized and honestly happy! My usual 8-10 hours leaves me groggy and grumpy when I wake up, so these short but enriching sleeps are a breath of fresh air.

Ginger helps with pain too, as well as dark chocolate. (Aids in your producing of Endorphins, which are your body's painkillers)
fibromyalgia is your pain issues, right?
Try some dark leafy greens, spinach, kale, stuff that's high in magnesium (which is also good for pain reduction)
Lots of nuts/seeds are good for this too, almonds, chia seeds, pumpkin seeds
Also beans and avocado! Healthy fats, Magnesium rich foods, etc.
Try to avoid to oily and processed stuff, although I'm sure you already know this

Oh! That's a great suggestion. I will try it too. Yes! long sleeping periods got me living like cloth when I woke like I'm still yawning. Wth i was doing then?
Blessings on you boy! Sounds great that you're feeling good. Wish it last forever. <3

Nah, you're fine. As someone with insomnia it was actually helpful for me even though you were talking to Asher.

again, magnesium (whole, dark green leafy vegetables)
it helps with pain, sleep/dreams (regulates your brain activity, immune system issues and so so much more!
If trying this out for a while doesn't help, try meditating, thinking of positive things, reading calm books or listening to calm music. Try and reduce the amount of activity you feed into your brain so your brain doesn't think it's still daytime
During the day, try to stay out of your bed when relaxing, sit in a beanbag or on the couch or somewhere else so that you don't start associating your bed with activity. It'll be hard to sleep then as well

Well, my question now, is how do you meditate? What do you do when meditating?

Nope I don't watch horror movies. Its constant and is starting to happen again. Thats why I take sleeping meds because I don't get them with that and I can sleep

I'm really sorry. Try to do those things below. Calm yourself down as much as you could. try to breath and get hydrated as much as you could. Do that and see the results.
