Good for you, Adrian. I just requested it, and I will wait and see."
Thanks Sue. Bookouture are so good as always. I was on twitter earlier when they announced it was up so I requested and got approved within half an hour.
Hope you get approved too(I'm sure you will). I'd say there's big demand for this one.

Yes, his writing is so good!
Chris wrote: "I am really bummed that I didn't get approved for Harlan Coben book. ..."Chris, are you talking about this Harlan Coben book ?
It was a download (Read Now) book on Edelweiss for awhile. Not sure if it still is but you should check it out. I was able to download it from there. It's been pending for months on Netgalley.
You are welcome Christine, this thread has been helpful to me. That's great Adrian 😃good luck everyone with requests.
Jean wrote: "Chris wrote: "I am really bummed that I didn't get approved for Harlan Coben book. ..."Chris, are you talking about this Harlan Coben book ?
It was a download (R..."Yep that was the book, but no worries I'll get the hard copy which means I'll enjoy it more.

Just got approved for Cold Blood
by Robert Bryndza and The Surrogate
by Louise JensenWOW! I am REALLY HAPPY!!!!

"I got approved for this today as well. I seem to request the exact same books as you haha.
Just got Robert Brindza's Cold Blood and Surrogate nby Louise Jensen. Totally psyched (and determined not to request another bleepin' book till I finished what's in my NG to-read pile)!
Christine wrote: "Are these the only books in your NG pile, Monnie?"I wish! There are 12 in the mix now, including these two. I try to read them in order of release date, but sometimes it's hard to resist the ones I know will be good, like the Bryndza and a Harlan Coben. They'll probably get moved up a notch or two.
Christine wrote: "12 isn't too bad, Monnie. You can do it!"LOL! Just got another one I'd requested probably a month ago and totally forgotten about (sigh). Oh well - should finish the one I'm reading now sometime tomorrow. Gotta remember anybody can eat an elephant as long as it's one bite at a time!
Holy cow, I am feeling overwhelmed with seven books in my queue. Plus I am actually working next week. I am going to read the FBI centered books while at their academy so that I can make mental fun of the book.
Maureen wrote: "Holy cow, I am feeling overwhelmed with seven books in my queue. Plus I am actually working next week. I am going to read the FBI centered books while at their academy so that I can make mental fun..."So, none of them are true to life, Maureen? That's kind of disappointing.

Haha. Great minds and all that Mary.
Finally got approved for
and couple of cozies
and
which is my light reading lol. I really got annoyed so I just requested a bunch of books and surprise surprise I got approved.
The one I just had approved today is Enigma by Catherine Coulter. Looking forward to it, except now I have 3 books waiting that have a Sept. 12 release date. Thank goodness the fall TV season doesn't start in earnest before then - all I have to contend with is football (Go Bucks)!
Christine wrote: "Maureen wrote: "Holy cow, I am feeling overwhelmed with seven books in my queue. Plus I am actually working next week. Also, they are pretty generous to fiction authors who want to know some actual facts. I know Catherine Coulter got some pretty good access in the early days of the Sherlock and Savich books, and of course Patricia Cornwell until that went south. Obviously so did Thomas Harris.
Monnie wrote: "The one I just had approved today is Enigma by Catherine Coulter. Looking forward to it, except now I have 3 books waiting that have a Sept. 12 release date. Thank goodness the fall TV season doesn..."Well, they did kinda wait last minute for Enigma. Most of the books I have come with at least a two or three month lead time.
Christine wrote: "Good for you, Lynn. I just hit zero and feel FREE!!!"I broke down and requested Cold Blood
by Robert Bryndza Time will tell if I get approved, writing my reviews I've gotten my percentage from 12% up to 72%. 11 left to review and 1 pending. Its doable, just hope I can get approved for the Robert Bryndza book.
Lynn wrote: "Christine wrote: "Good for you, Lynn. I just hit zero and feel FREE!!!"I broke down and requested Cold Blood
by Robert Bryndza Tim..."I have been reasonably good about not requesting books in an effort to catch up, but after reading all your posts, have just requested 4 new ones. *groan*😦*smile 😆😆😆😆😆😆
Wow Christine - that would make me feel very insecure lol!
Good on you Lynn. I have managed to ease mine up to 53%.
Lynn wrote: "Christine wrote: "Good for you, Lynn. I just hit zero and feel FREE!!!"I broke down and requested Cold Blood

but not holding my breath.

Thanks, Christine - I'm still hyperventilating! Now I'm trying like mad to finish the book I'm reading now - luckily, it's very good. Should get it done by sometime tomorrow.
Daisy wrote: "Heads up-- M.J. Arlidge has a new one on Netgalley, Hide and Seek."Thanks for the info - just put in my request. Good series!
Monnie wrote: "OMG! Just got the okay for John Sanford's Deep Freeze (the new Virgil Flowers)! This one's moving to the top of the NG heap for sure!!"I requested but like I said not holding my breath because most of the time the books I really want I get shot down for.
Daisy wrote: "Heads up-- M.J. Arlidge has a new one on Netgalley, Hide and Seek."Thank you, put my request in let's see what happens.
Monnie wrote: "Woo hoo - just got Whispering Room by Dean Koontz. Happy surprise - a favorite author!"Congrats you are on a role with your favorite authors.
