I thought of America to be quite annoying and petty at first, but after the bet with Maxon about the strawberry tarts and whether May would cry over them or not, I found myself rooting for her and Maxon. I've already finished the series back to back, so I know how it ends and I think the ending for the first three books is very fitting as well.
