I only put 25 books on my list since I planned on going through only once and didn't know we would have an option of continuing the game.

Or, if you've already finished it, you can take the 9 first, read that book, and then move back 3 ..."Woot! With her move 9 spots to 88, JoyD is in the Royalty Coach! The Butler oversees a full staff, including celebrity chef and maid service, there to provide for your every comfort. I believe there is even a footman to hold your book or ereader for you. Settle in and enjoy the luxurious plush accommodations. Stay a month or two.
OM is reading her chunkster in First Class Cafe at least. I have been assured that the snacks consumed by the cafe attendant have beefully replenished and a new attendant is now in charge. Enjoy the plush seating.

Some of that book consists of text/IM exchanges which took a long time in the audiobook, because the narrator read who was speaking each time and who it was to. Those would be super fast to read in print.
Rolls for 1/20Charlotte 2-5
Tien 4-4
Ellen 4-3
Olivermagnus 5-4
Joy D 4-4
Nicole 6-2
Cheryl 2-6
Kelly 5-3
Nancy 6-4
Nancy, your special advantage allows you to roll again and move to 10 plus the additional roll in one jump (no reading required). The additional roll is a 6-3.
Anita can you add me as well? I posted right after Joy this morning, but apparently my connection was lost because I don't see it there now.

Soon there will be a first place finisher. Stay tuned for some announcements about where we are going to go with Subdue. I am conferring with the other administrators, but I have some ideas, and you, as players, will have some decisions to make.
I definitely didn't expect this challenge to go as fast as it did!! But I learned a thing or two, lol.
I too am surprised that a winner would emerge in less than a month. And so many moving forward so fast. It is almost like the only books being read are from StS, and everyone but me are on vacation and can read all day! 🤣🤣I think I might be a bit jealous. 🤢
it's also a choice - I have read 13 books this year and am in the middle of 2 for ongoing discussion groups. But only 3 were for Subdue. I have 2 local library groups and several other GR games/challenges that are more of a priority right now. I actually would have pushed harder if it were for a team like in Poll Ballot. It's just for me, so no big deal. I try to make the various challenges align when I can, so that a book works for more than one, when I find one it's like I won the jackpot! And yes, I am retired and have way more reading time than I used to. Kudos to everyone who is participating at whatever level.
Wow that was fast!I'm back here in the caboose on my 3rd (or 10th) White Russian wondering what the heck is going on up there in the front of the train!
In January, we have had one winter storm after the next where I live, so I've been doing nothing but shoveling snow and reading, lol.
When JoyD posts her review of her book at #94, she leaves the Royal Coach behind and steps in as the Engineer and Driver in the Locomotive having completed her board! If the admins create a game continuation, then JoyD is back 8n the Caboose starting over.
I have the welcome mat all ready to roll out.

Agreed on all counts, Theresa!
Aj, that was fast. We have a winner before I even managed to start my first book for this game, lol. The drinks in the cabooze and a crazy January month at work are not helping either.

Those white russians are good , aren't they! I use to drink them in my youth, then my brother-in-law gave me a bottle of Kahlua at Thanksgiving, so used it for Holiday drinks-forgot how much I lile them

I got a special roll a week go, so I will be leaving the caboose for the baggage car-Hang on ladies I have a gentlemen coming with me, I know you will love him!
Joanne has a gentleman with her? I am intrigued! At least she has him to hold her white Russian, while she is still managing her books and her recovering arm. On book 25, am I still in the baggage car? At what point do I move up to where?
Coming back slowly Amy, to day will be small post, maybe a book review or two and getting back to helping Anita-thanks for your text!
Kate, and for all our newest members, we all remember what it was like to join and jump into challenges. You guys are doing so great! Absolutely no one expected you to be in first class, we’re just thrilled you got on the train!

Oh I loved White Russians when I was young but I married a black Irish 😁
He picked up some Kahlua and Bailey’s Irish Crime for the holidays.

I think I only left the house twice all month. I also feel more wide awake than I’ve been since May. I don’t read nearly as fast as you do, but this is high speed for me.
