January Subdue the Shelf Roll Requests

I am going to exercise the special 1-2 roll, and use 3 participation points to move 3 points ahead. I finished and reviewed both of my books on space 95, and moving 3+3 points takes me off the board. So I’m done!

Finally finished my first roll and will be moving onto # 20, a special roll from Nancy. I have that book on hold (it is due back today, so hopefully it comes soon). So, I leave the caboose, but as promised Baggage folk I am bring a hunky man with me,
As I am waiting on my book Tom and I will organize the TOP SHELF liquor he ordered. He was only able to snatch up airline plastic cups and snacks but the high class alcohol makes up for that. He is at your service Baggage Folk, so enjoy.
Right now I am in negotiations to have him move with me through out the train. Thresa, don't even try to discourage him he is under strict orders to not talk to you
I pushed to finish the 2nd 250 pages of my book yesterday, and finished at 11:59 pm!

Thanks everyone!Lynda, before you leave the Royal Coach be sure to try some of the Vosges Exotic Truffles. They’re delicious. If you like a little heat, try the Curry Masala 45% cacao with coconut. The violet was very nice. I regret I didn’t try the wine pairings.

Of course he will talk to me ... Tom does not ignore lawyers confronting him and I've already diverted that top-shelf liquor to the Caboose. You can keep the empty plastic glasses.
Plus I've put Tom to work in the Private Car - far better pay and he couldn't wait to hop to the front.
@Olivermagnus - welcome to the Royal Coach! Enjoy your stay! Nancy and JoyD gave it excellent reviews. Meanwhile, back in the Caboose .... I just heard that the new chaise ordered in honor of JoyD's win will be delivered tomorrow... It's a stunner. That mean's there will be 3 chaises in the Caboose Reading Nook. Should make it easier for the Cabanna Boys to choose the dance off winners.

Theresa, the Tom you "heisted" is a look a like B-Actor. And we have boxes of liquor squirreled away where you cannot find it. No worries Baggage Car I got the real Tom tucked safely away, our stay here will be comfortable.

Attention: The Caboose just took delivery of a new chaise, sent by an anonymous donor in honor of JoyD's spectacular win of Subdue the Shelf!
It has a hand carved stylized dragon feet and head (in the scroll). A vintage piece recently restored, it adds such a touch of elegance to the Caboose's Reading Nook.
I call dibs.

NancyJ handed off the Locomotive to Olivermagnus who has mastered the read while driving technique. Good thing because closest relief is KateNZ back in first class. Private Car and Royal Coach staffs are cleaning and restocking, grabbing a few days off, before the next arrivals.Joanne's book needs to show up so she is too busy to get up to mischief. Someone slap a set of headphones and an audiobook and deal her into the poker game.
I think I’ve got plenty of time to read up on my train driving techniques! In no hurry to get to the locomotive either. Currently enjoying a refreshing mango salad and a gin and tonic, with my feet up on the ottoman. Luxury!
Attn: Baggage Car! Please put the cats and dogs back in their carriers by 3 PM today! The dogs are departing for the groomers and play dates, and the cats are heading to the Meowy Wowwy Cafe for some up close and personal time with catnip toys.However a new contingent will be uploaded at same time. Fresh packs of cards, a few more charging stations and a wine shipment also arriving. I also see in the manifest that 2 snack vending machines are finally appearing. Please make room.
I am still sitting on a tightly packed but somewhat soft red duffel where I can adjust my position from upright to lying against to sleeping atop. Thank you for sending the Moscato. Its my favorite. The tea was also a great thought too - just heavenly. Lets hope the vending machine has got the MnM's and some good sets of pretzels and perhaps an oreo cookie. Happy to take a break from those animals. There's a Cat who seemed to think my temporary home was hers, and she occasionally gnarls at me.That said, my book is apparently being well enjoyed by others and shows no sign of showing up, so I will be in the baggage car for quite a long time. At what juncture do I get to move up to the next, and what is it?
I do not use audio, don't play Poker. I will play Euchre and Tom sent for some.Someone smashed and grabbed your vending machine Theresa, I think was the cats, that one gnarling at Amy has crumbs on the whiskers.
