With regard to ISBNs, superlibrarians have no more rights than other librarians. But why can't you add them? The ISBN and ASIN fields are still empty, so you shouldn't have a problem.

Daire Lüüs | 5 comments There is second book with ISBN 9789916125397. This is in status deleted but we cannot delete ISBN there and add to right book. We do not see any book with ISBN 4741504000214, but there is, that this ISBN is wrong. Maybe there is only right ISBN, what start with 9? But this book has ISBN what start with 4. We tried with some Estonian librarians, we could not add these. We hope, that superlibrarians have more rights for that.

lethe | 16359 comments Ah, I see.

The 4741504000214 ISBN certainly looks wrong. Does it actually say 'ISBN 4741504000214' in the book?

Sandra | 31413 comments ISBN 4741504000214 is not a valid isbn. Isbn 13's start with either 978 or 979.

Some countries have their own system, but we can't add them in the isbn field on GR.

And lethe's comment that Super Librarians can't edit or change isbns is valid, you'll need to contact support and explain why it should be changed.

I believe supers can create special ACEs when an ISBN has also been given to a completely different book, but I don't think that's what happened here.

It looks like editions with these ISBNs have been given either the status 'deleted' or 'invalid'.

The second one seems to be a comic book and without a proper ISBN it may indeed not be valid, althought it does have 96 pages.

So Sandra is right, Support should be contacted.
