Great suggestion Abcdarian. I didn't know there was such a section. Thanks for pointing this out.How should we proceed from here? I fear that creating a thread in that section could lead to a confusing duplication.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
If you look up at the top of this page, by the title of your post, there's an "edit" link which will let you change from "Book Issues" to "Looking for a Project?" I think that should move the whole thing. And thank you for checking. :-)
Henry wrote: "Many of the titles appear to be Turkish, Greek, Hebrew, Arabic, and so on. ... It would be helpful if these books could be combined with the German versions of his books."Many of these still need to be looked at. And for most, there is not enough info to determine if they are indeed matching a German edition. If there is a listing on Worldcat, most of the time the original title is not mentioned.
Except, of course, omnibus editions that combine translations of his shorter works and don't correspond to the selections in German.
There are indeed many of these situations. (And possibly some that are even incorrectly combined at the moment).

Zweig wrote in German. It would be helpful if these books (including English-language titles) could be combined with the German versions of his books. Except, of course, omnibus editions that combine translations of his shorter works and don't correspond to the selections in German.
Looks like a big task, but I'm confident there are librarians who will say, "this is just the challenge I've been looking for." Thanks in advance.
