(view spoiler)[ I am REALLY enjoying this book. I love how all the Knights are fighting for Lady Rosemarie's affections. I feel like Sir Derrick is the one who stopped the torturing of those men and that he's her true love.

I think that Lady Rosemarie's parents had hoped she'd find true love before her 18th birthday and that's why they didn't tell her about the vow. How about you? (hide spoiler)]

I'm finding the book to be very enjoyable as well. The knights wooing Rosemarie is nice, but I'm liking the way Derrick is behaving. He isn't trying so hard to woo her, in fact it's as though he's trying to keep his distance, and for some reason this makes me like him all the more.

I feel like Sir Derrick is the one who stopped the torturing of those men and that he's her true love.
I agree! I'll be surprised if it ends up being either of the other two knights.

If they knew about the exception clause, I agree. But, if they didn't know, I think they thought that if she didn't know about the vow maybe she wouldn't punished? I don't really know.

Who do you think shot Sir Collin? It could be either of the knights, even though I don't think it's Sir Derrick, or more likely it could be the sheriff.

I agree. Derrick's behavior makes him very likable.

When I was on chapter nine, I thought it might be Sir Bennet or the sheriff, too -- I didn't think Sir Derrick even though it is/was a possibility. ;)

Who do you think is behind the poisoning? I think it's either the sheriff or Sir Bennet. I'll be shocked if it's Collin or the abbot...

I loved how Derrick won the jousting tournament! He's probably my favorite character, so I hope he and Lady Rosemarie end up together. ;) (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[I should have guessed it was the abbot, but I just really didn't think it was him - even though everything pointed to him! Lol!

I loved how Lady Rosemarie and Derrick met each other to "finish" their chess game all those nights. It really helped them to get to know each other better and really fall in love.

I thought it was so funny how Trudy threw the chamber pot and its contents on that guard, so Lady Rosemarie could try and escape! Disgusting, but funny!! ;) Speaking of Trudy, I felt SO bad for her when the abbot was torturing her!

I liked how Derrick actually proposed to Lady Rosemarie and didn't just assume that she wanted to marry him. I also liked how the ending skipped ahead two months, but that ending left me wondering what happens next!! (hide spoiler)]
