Same! Also, Clarey was super annoying!"

Like, why did she keep on slapping Jace? He was annoyng sure, but that was uncalled for.

Lily (azaleas_bookshelf_17) | 10 comments Agree with Colleen Hoover. I have read three of her books, only finished one after realizing her entire oeuvre (I had to Google the right word for it) is like this. Her books all have the same flow as It Ends With Us-- abusive boyfriend, helpless young woman trying to escape, and the sweet guy next door who tries to save her, not to mention multiple graphic sex and assault scenes.

I do not have much to say about other authors. I'm generally the type to avoid series of books unless they are really good. I have tried with Marissa Meyer's Lunar Chronicles series and got burnt out very fast. However, I believe that many YA authors' works improve over time, and it has shown over and over again.

Ella✨(booktrovert) | 152 comments TBH Stephanie Myers. If the girl can write such horrible characters, terrible plots, boring, obsessive, un-idealistic (IDK the word), and awful relationships and morals, then nothing she writes is going to be good. Sorry y'all, the opinions are coming OUT.
