Adult Horror: Involves a group of travelers whose car breaks down on the road, they find the home of a redneck/hillbilly family in the woods. They turn out to be murderous and possibly cannibalistic.

I distinctly remember key scenes including a meat freezer/locker within the home and an adult son character to the family (think something like Bubba/Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw) capturing one of the women and making her eat a weird pudding like substance? I’m also 100% certain it took place before smart phones. Can’t give any information about the cover as I used to take the dust jacket when I was younger. Any help would be appreciated, I can try to think up more information if need be but I don’t remember a whole ton.
