Yes, I see rats. Don't ask me what that animal at the top is supposed to be though!!"

Thanks, Meg

Kinnera (kinnerapriyap) | 77 comments Cool task! I went with the animal `tiger` so for option 3, I was thinking of the book Time Is a Mother - the author writes about his own experience so he's the character? One of the adjectives for tiger is brave, so would it work?

The blurb describes it as:
At once vivid, brave, and propulsive, Vuong's poems circle fragmented lives to find both restoration as well as the epicenter of the break.

Please verify if "competitive" (tiger) will count for this one:

Terra Incognita

From the description: "Theodora Baumgarten is baffled and furious: Why was she selected to be part of a highly competitive {emphasis added by Kathy] interstellar cadet program? After all, she never even applied."

My take is that she is accepted for a competitive program, even though she never applied; so it seems she is competitive.

along with
"Here are some things Amy Chua would never allow her daughters to do:
not be the #1 student in every subject except gym and drama"

Thanks!
