I am not sure I will be able to contribute this month. Dealing with my 94 years old mother's health issues. Currently stranded in NJ.

I am sure she is proud to have such a loving daughter to help her through difficult times. Prayers for her healing.

Where in Jersey are you? I lived in Mount Laurel for a few years before moving back to LI. Have tons of cousins down there, mostly in Manahawkin.

Crazy busy this month. This week was that of Murphy, to the point where I thought I might be looking for another job. Luckily, it ended on a good note. So much to do this weekend before being thrown back in the programming pits. Had to reuse a prior story, but one that definitely fits well in the theme and just so happens, is one of my favorites. Maybe one day I'll have time to put it into a full length work. Enjoy...

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. Mom is in Parsippany, Jot. I am now back home. In the new year, I will have more elder care issues to resolve. Motto here: Don't get old. As a friend's father said: You get sick, you lived or died. None of this half life nonsense.

Paula, not too esoteric. I liked the idea of being able to pick up post-mortal thoughts/brainwaves/conversations.
