Matt, I hope you find time to dine on a few entrees. I notice that you are doing Bingo. Take a look at challenge #4, it’s almost a give me using your Bingo squares.

It is up to you how you do it.
Well done! You're doing really well on your challenges.I found Anna Karenina very readable, and much less difficult than I was expecting. It may depend on the translation you pick. You could always try the first page of a few different translations before you pick. (I find Amazon's "look inside" feature useful for that kind of thing,)
I remember thinking that Anna Karenina was going to be difficult. It turned out easier and faster than I thought, and was worth every minute spent reading, a great book. Good luck.
Haven't gotten around to reading Anna Karenina yet, but the itch to do so is as huge as the book itself!!

I actually read the first three chapters about five years ago and really enjoyed it, but then had to take the book back to the library, and then wandered off to other things. I'll get back to it one day!!
I too was surprised at how smoothly it read, though that probably depends on your translation. I'm pretty sure I read the Rosemary Edmonds translation. You've done so well on all your challenges this year, Matt!
Congrats, Matt! I read Anna Karenina many years ago but I remember that the translation was terrible. The Rosamund Bartlett one seems alright.
Congratulations, Matt. Lovely way to end, with Anna. I have two challenges I have tabled for next year--just like a real buffet, eyes bigger than the stomach.

Now, turning my atten..."
I'm so jealous that you've read Anna Karenina 3 times, Matt! Love, love, love that book. That one along with Dr Zhivago and Angle of Repose are at the very top of my favorites. I see that you didn't care for Angle of Repose. No book is for everyone.
Congratulations on completing all you did on top of your Shakespeare Challenge! I have to go look for that.
