Dana Romano, Bree’s partner, comes to help out and then decides to stay permanently, retiring to Grey’s Hollow and helping with the kids. Did you see that coming?

[Robin]

Actually, In about the middle of the book, I started hoping that Dana would decide to stay. She had already "retired" and didn't need to go back to her job. She mentioned that she had no big plans for retirement and that she didn't have any ties to Philadelphia. This was a perfect situation for her.

I figured if Bree ended up staying Dana would too. They have such a good relationship and it didn't sound like she was too enthused for what was planned for her after she retired. This will be better

I didn’t see it coming until late in the story but was thrilled when she made that decision.

I suspected that Dana would stay if Bree stayed. Dana didn't have a purpose after she retired. Also, Dana connected with the children. I wanted her to stay.
