Erin was murdered in her estranged husband Justin’s home and he’s missing. Did you initially see him as a suspect? If not, why not? If so, when did you begin to believe he might be innocent?

[Robin]

I was trying to keep my options open until I got more information. I can see that the police would make him their number one suspect given that Erin's body was found at his place. I started thinking he was innocent when Bree and Matt found Erin's truck and it had blood in both the front and back seat. That told me that two people had been in the truck, and more than one person (besides Erin) had been injured.

We are led to believe this but, once they found the women's products/makeup etc in the bathroom I figured something else had happened here.

It all seemed too obvious and I soon learned there was little reason for him to kill her. After they found Erin’s car with all that blood in it, I was convinced he didn’t do it.

It didn't take long to realize that Justine wasn't the murderer.
