Amanda | 28 comments This is probably a question for librarians or used-book sellers.

In the late 70s/early 80s I worked my way through a series of biographies of classical composers (Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, Brahms) that I checked out from the city library. They were probably about 9 x 12, 80-100 pages, with a classical-style portrait of the composer in question on the front of each book. I haven't been able to locate any trace of them online. If anyone has a lead on them, I would enjoy tracking them down.

Thanks,
Amanda

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5545 comments Maybe Brahms, Haydn, Beethoven etc. by Reba Paeff Mirsky, published in the 1960s? The LibraryThing page for the Brahms one has an image of the front cover: https://www.librarything.com/work/166175

Becca (beccalikesbooks) | 5545 comments There's also the Great Musicians series by Opal Wheeler, e.g. Mozart, the Wonder Boy, but those covers look a bit more cartoony.
