A great story. The treatment of the LBGT community is terrible, and so many people justify their actions using the Bible or old theories. The topic and characters were well done and relevant.

It’s an incredible story with so many weighty themes and important insights. I was on overload for much of it.

I was also on overload. The amount of time in the story spent on education kind of took me out of the mystery at times, but it was handled compassionately and woven delicately into the plot. I enjoyed the story as with all of these books.

I'm sure it was very personal to the author which added a dimension to what I was reading. Always good when humanity moves away from prejudice and hate.
