Kim gets emotional support from several sources, including a first-time visit from Ted and one from Tracy Frost. Your thoughts about their effectiveness?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3485 comments I was not a big Tracy Frost fan in the early stories, but she has turned into a big advocate for Kim. She knows how to deal with Kim in an "unfriendly" friendly way. If that makes sense. Their relationship reminds me of Eve and Summerset. They started out on the wrong foot, but figured out how to live together.

I LOVE Ted. We are told the Kim never confided in him, but he knows her. Ted gives her something to think about so she can get her head in the right place. Kim knows that he cares about her.

Oh, that’s the comparison I was looking for…Eve and Summerset! They’ll never be best buds but they have a healthy respect for each other and I love how they take care of one another in their own style. This was a really fine moment.

Ted is on another level of wonderful. He’s her lifeline and though she’s never opened up to him in words, she’s allowed herself to be vulnerable in front of him because of their shared trust. She’s not have survived without him.

Lynn (ftbooklover) I don't think Kim is capable of traditional friendships, so I think any of these people that come into her life and come back for more are going to have to be equally as contentious as she is.
