Kim returns but barely acknowledges her team and sits on the sideline but listens to everything going on. What was it that offended her most about Burns’ removal of Jamie’s name from the board? What was the tipping point that had her step forward and dismiss Burns and resume her role, even though she knew she wasn’t ready?

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3485 comments Kim doesn't stop when she is on a case. She knows from the last case that Burns doesn't share her commitment.

When Kim heard Stacey trying to convince Burns that there was something more to the case, it piqued her interest to find out more. She didn't like how Burns treated her team, especially Stacey.

The tipping point was Bryant warning Kim that her team was stressed and may fall apart.

Kim seemed to take issue with Burns’ cavalier removal of Jamie’s name from the board, which inspired her to just double check. I thought the tipping point for her to step up was realizing Stacey was about to put in for a transfer. Plus, Bryant had warned her that the team was on life support.

Lynn (ftbooklover) I agree with both Jonetta and Sharon. Because of Bryant's warning to Kim and when she saw Stacey's envelope, she knew that if she didn't do something, she was about to lose Stacey. The removal of Jamie's name played a part, though.

Lisa - (Aussie Girl) She knew Burns was incompetent and disagreed with his work practices but definitely the last straw was thinking that Stacey was ready to resign and break the team up.
