Format of goodreads

Hi there, I know this isn’t really about the book catalog, but I was just wondering if may the goodreads formatting or something like that could be a bit simpler or direct for smaller brains like myself. I’m trying to add books I’ve read this year to my Year In Books, and there are no options to change the date read, or add books to the Year in Books. At least not for me. This is completely off topic but I just need some help pls :)))
I also think the librarians are doing a really good job and are very admirable.
