Yay! Ok :) I’m excited for the next couple months, there’s so many good books to read! (Assuming they are good)
Started today, read about 30 pages. A jinn story again :)
I'm definitely a fan of middle eastern inspired stories
Haha..I do have a couple more on my TBR middle eastern inspired
ooh yay!! i wonder if the prev series we read will have any similarities as far as the jinn go!
I only read about 30 pages of this one so far, but the jinn started off as creatures of fire, same as in Daevabad, but they also have other powers. And humans are hunting them down.
I’m waiting for my book to get here it’s been saying on its way for 5 days now. If it’s not here by the time it closes tonight then I’m just gonna buy it. Can’t wait though :)

I just bought the first two in the trilogy. Ninth house is pretty good I’m about done but I liked it other than Alex drives me crazy sometimes hehe
Last I checked the second book after The Stardust Thief isnt coming out until Nov 2023. Will definitely get Hell Bent when it comes out in January...hoping Alex will find Darlington lol. Hahaha...she is very stubborn but she was entertaining :)

I'm on chapter 14 and I'm loving this one a lot so far!!!
I think I left it at chapter 13 last night...I'm enjoying it as well. I like Loulie as a character so far, I'm intrigued by Qadir and the lady thief (forgot her name lol)
i like her and Qadir as well! i was thinking there would be a bit of romance between them but it looks like their arrangement is merely platonic. I love the prince!! but Omar is so irritating. i kinda hate him haha
there's a lot of similarities between this one and the last series we read! I feel like it's helping me pick things up a lot quicker!
There are definitely similarities with the Daevabad series for sure...I do really like Middle Eastern inspired stories. Haha...it doesn't feel like there would be any romance with Qadir. What do you think of Mazen? Omar is definitely uptight and arrogant lol
he reminds me of Ali a little bit! The brother who's sweet and charismatic and has good intentions but is also very naive. I like him though!
Yeah I keep reading this thinking of the other series but agree with everything you both said. So far enjoying it!
Agree, Bella...he is educated like Ali, but he can't fight where Ali could.
I left it at chapter 15 last night...I was actually at chapter 12 before lolI didn't expect Omar to do what he did with Mazen and the quest for the relic.
I ended up not liking Ali at the end so I hope Mazen isn’t like that. I’m only 60 pages in I’m gonna read a lot tonight I hope
Really? For me it was the other way around, Ali annoyed in the beginning and ended up really liking him. Mazen is a lot more naive then Ali I feel.
I made it to chapter 32 last night so I'm gonna cool down for the next couple days so I don't finish too soon lol
same! Ali bothered me a lot haha. I really like Mazen though, maybe I just love how charismatic he is! the scene with the little old merchant lady is what won me over haha

Ahmed hasn’t been revealed except a little bit so I’m curious about him too. Omar as well. I’m only on chapter 20 but I have the next few days to really do some reading which I’m excited about. Corina, I’d trade you for some rain and cold for as much sunshine as you could handle! I got you!!!!
You're not far behind, Courtney! Omar I don't like and Ahmed I'm not sure on lol. Mazen I like, but he is very naive. Hahaha...I will take the sunshine, Courtney. I will probably live to regret it and we will have a crazy dry summer when it comes...
