To be honest, I like them as friends...her and Qadir. And they've been travelling together for 9 years so surely something would have happened by now. I dont think she has any romantic feelings for him.
Is it just me or do you also find the scenes with the jinn relics/posessions confusing sometimes lol?
Yeah I know I guess I just like their relationship and I’m always trying to make something out of nothing lol
Yeah, its like you see the memories of the jinn, but also how the people posessed are feeling if that makes sense
And yes the possessions are so weird, when I’m reading them it takes me a minute to realize that the characters have switched into the possessions. And the hallucinations! The queen possession was scary!!!
Lol...yes, a bit. The possessions make more sense now though haha. There is a conversation between her and Qadir in chapter 32 I believe.
Yes I liked the way it was explained and it makes more sense now for sure.
I like that the author does that!! it's pretty confusing but it's so fun!! I love the unreliability of it haha. we only know what they know
Thats true, Bella! Are you already finished with the book? lolThere is a chapter from Mazen's perspective when he says he never trusted Ahmed's smile so I am still undecided but I do feel sorry for him after what happened. I think I left it at chapter 36 last night.
not yet! I'm on chapter 49! I remember that - I honestly took it more as insecurity/jealousy from his end. I try to remind myself that Ahmed IS a jinn killer after all so to not be so affectionate towards him but idk! I'm a sucker for charismatic/respectful types :')

Just got to chapter 43! Idk how I feel about Ahmed yet because I’m definitely suspicious of him but you can tell he really has feelings for Loulie, he has her back in front of everyone so that’s something I really like about his character for sure. Was hoping Aisha was going to come around…

I read it twice, then the next chapter I was still thinking its not true...damnI finished chapter 43 last night...poor Loulie...Qadir dead and captured by her family"s murderer. At least Mazen is trying to do something about it.
I honestly didn't expect him to die...I guess his soul is still in that dagger and he will help her that way maybe?

Really? Maybe I forgot to say something about it, it was on the awards page and I got it from the library so I thought I must have done that for a reason hahaha!
