I loooooved it, even though it did make me cry.
This is such an important book -- so of course it is "challenged" in places where people most need to be able to read it.
One of my 5 star reads.

Buwahahaha! And now people are complaining about it. Sucks when the shoe is on the other foot, you ignorant jerks.

Excellent! Hope you enjoy it. It's one of my all-time favorite books. I first read it when I was 14 and that was like 20 yrs. ago. It still remains my favorite book.

Yae! So thrilled you liked the book. It's one that is certainly worth reading.

I could go on about the topic of banned books. It makes me angry and it makes me sick. Now that hate is spreading to the city where my sister lives in.

That's cool that you read it Kym. It really is a great book.

never actually read the book. I bought this for my nephew and it talks about how all colors are for everyone.

Yes it's been my impression that most children's books that are on challenged lists were never actually read by the people doing the complaining.

I also read "Speak" for this prompt a couple of weeks ago. It was brilliant.
