Mekki | 18 comments I'm currently reading Black Gods and Scarlet Dreams. Its a collection of stories from C.L. Moore. The collection contains stories from two of her main characters, Northwest Smith and Jirel of Joiry.

So far i've completed The Drawing of the Dark , Their Eyes Were Watching God, The Man Who Loved Children and The Water That Falls on You from Nowhere in march.

If you guys get a chance read The Lady Who Plucked Red Flowers Beneath the Queen's Window. I really liked this story. Its free to read here

Justine (justine_ao) | 636 comments I just finished Shattered Pillars, which I thought was great. The Eternal Sky are my first Elizabeth Bear books and I'm really enjoying them.

I love Bear's stuff, though I fins I enjoy the fantasy more than her sci-fi

I am trying to finish up The Drawing of the Dark and The City and the Stars, then I plan to read The Atrocity Archives, Fahrenheit 451Wyrd Sisters and The Crimson Campaign

I finished Deadhouse Gates last night. Wow!

I may take a short break before diving into the next Malazan book. Maybe something out of genre. We'll see.

Ken , this is my first time reading this series, so I can only compare Deadhouse Gates to Gardens of the Moon. Both excellent, but Deadhouse Gates packs a visceral and emotional wallop.

James Parsons | 4 comments Currently reaching the end of reading Charles Stross Glasshouse SF novel. It is slightly space opera but mostly paranoid Orwellian social experiment tale. Good fun tale.
