Parents couldn’t have kids so they asked the witch for a kid. Only issue: the daughter is a witch/can do magic. She can see the future, can only do that, when seeing her reflection. The witch now lives in the woods because this took place in 1800s? and the girl looks for her and gets trained by her. Eventually she sees her family will die from a storm so she scarifies herself for her family and it’s learnt that her brother is also a magic user.
