Erin Cunningham (historicalfic123) | 46 comments So this is not a new book, but I saw it last week on either Novelist or THrift Books. It is a 2 part series and the series title is a girl's name. The first book has a picture of a girl pretending to fly on the front (you see her from behind and her arms are stretched up). The second book had a picture of a house on it and I thought it had something to do with a home for mothers or something of the sort. For some reason my brain is telling me the main character (a girl) had some sort of disability. I am thinking it was visual but I can't quote myself. It is not available in my state's library (Rhode Island) so figured I'd throw that in if it helps anyone guesstimate the year. I thought the title of the 1st book had something to do with flying; either wings, feather, flight or some other flying word. It has been nagging at me! I thought the main character's name (and series title) was a two parter- like Emmie Gray or Emmie Jo (but it may not even be the name Emmie!). Any help is appreciated!

Please add plot details to your topic header. If you don't know any - meaning not a SINGLE ONE ! - then add a cover description to your header. All headers must contain plot details or something else about the book rather than merely genre.

Capn | 3506 comments I did not see the cover you described, but there's a very specific list that should have caught it - maybe you'll recognize a title if a different cover is shown?

Erin, is the setting contemporary or historical?

I copied some book details to the header/ topic title. Feel free to edit it.
