Gork | 7 comments No plot that I can remember (per se) it was a neet illustrated guide about monsters you may encounter. Some in dreams, some not. One that stands out was a cloud monster that'd eat houses and scare people. the illustration had part of it wrapped around a person.

PaulGamerBoy360 This is not how you use this you have to put the topic in the UNSOLVED folder.

Capn | 3506 comments Was this a picture book, Gork? Like 32 to 64 pages in length? Or something a bit bulkier like an early reader?

Any feeling about age group? Teens or are we talking young kids? :)

It wasn't a "Monster in my Pocket" book, was it? i.e. Monster in My Pocket Annual 1992 I don't remember a cloud monster, but I do remember Spring-heeled Jack as name, if that rings any bells. More on that franchise here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monster...

Content-wise: did it seem more rooted in classic mythology? Or was it just like pop-culture or made-up monsters? :)

What were the illustrations like, please? Full colour, or b&w? Extremely detailed or simple sketches? Cartoony or realistic?

There are some lists that I think you might like to scroll through:

Bestiaries: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/2...
another Bestiary one: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...
Picture Books Myth. Mag. Creatures: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/8...

If it might have been related to Dungeons & Dragons or another role-playing game system, there's a separate list here: https://www.goodreads.com/list/show/1...

Gork | 7 comments The two illustrations I remember were color. I think it was pop-culture type of creatures because I don't recall things like Satyres, imps gnomes, pooka, Elfs or trolls and the like. I'm trying to think as a type. I almost want to say it was illustrations of someone with an S peter something. ooh wait I think the copy I was given was a hard back book and just for adventures in a dream realm...and FOUND IT!!!

I'm hoping it can inspiration for much more friendly critters. I make figures by hand from clay. I'm hopping to set up a etsy shop eventually. But want a modest variety. Not quite their yet.

And the bestiaries list did it. Hard to find good books beyond Faeries and Elfs.
thank you
