Is King of Scars and Rule of Wolves worth reading?

I've had this duology on my shelf for ages but can't bring myself to actually reading it. Are they good?

yes i also haven’t read them yet but nikolai was my fav character in the s & b triology and it’s about him so it looks pretty good
