i remember reading this book around 2013 from our old library, and it looks as if it was published by point horror in the 70s or 80s. the main character is a high school journalist who survived a car crash when she was a kid. the accident involves the family of her childhood friend who grew up to be a hockey player. the parents of the said friend died in the car crash. years later murders began in their high school. SPOILER...
