I was ok with this as it didn't appear Leanne had a way of getting herself out of this nor was she able to defend herself.
I hate to admit it but these people deserved what they got. What they did to Leanne was enough to put them in prison for life. But they’d never get that kind of justice.
Yep, I really don't want to 'condone violence' but sometimes it's necessary when you can't see justice any other way.
I think we must accept what Evan does if we are going to continue to read these books; again, his training is what keeps him strictly from being a reactionary vigilante (so far, imho).
You’re right, Charlene. I’m having to push my own ideology behind and live in the “gray” with Evan.
I dont think Evan thinks of himself as a vigilante more like this is his job and he is going to do it to the best of his ability.
Everyone is making good points. We have to accept what Evan does and go along with it, even if we don't agree with it 100 percent. I'm happy he takes the time to make sure that the situation is what he thinks it is. He doesn't want to take out the bad guy and eventually find out that he had the wrong guy or things weren't as they seemed.
