I believe the book starts off by a teenage girl leaving phone messages and text to this person she sent money to to make a special plaque for her sister who died/went Missing. Anyways turns out that person was a scam and changed their number and the number beloged to someone else now. Some boy in the next town over. And the whole book is written the the perspective of the texts. And the last line in the book was "and he looked just as I pictured" or something alone that line. I had read the book I think between 2013-2014.
