SOLVED. Book I swear was called 14th Floor

I read thie book years ago and i swear it was called The 14th Floor. From what i can remember it's about an apartment building that keep having weird things happen. They search the building and find it has an old bank vault in the basement. There's also a part where they get sucked into some alternative dimension where something is trying to kill them. I am pretty sure the cover of the book was dark green and black. It was such an awesome book and i can't find any books called 14th floor so I'm at a standstill. Any help would be appreciated

Could it be 1408 by Stephen King? A shirt story about a haunted hotel where weird things happen to guests and a guest nearly gets sucked into an evil dimension, but no bank vault.
