This is the second in a series of books following Sherlock Holmes and his female companion, Mary Russell. I read the first one a little while ago and decided that as this was my next book on my bookcase to read, I'd slot it in this week. I did have to double check that Laurie R. King was definitely female (and that delayed my posting this thread).
I suspect that I'm probably the only one reading this particular book, which is a shame because I'm finding it a bit slow and I think having someone to compare notes with would help speed up my reading. But let me know if you've read any of this series and what you thought of them. :-)
